Please take note that the NMC Symposium is being delivered in two components. The first component includes keynote events on October 26th and 28th being delivered in collaboration with CSPS with registrations being handled through their events page.

The second component includes four sessions on October 27th that are being organized entirely by the NMC with a maximum of 1,000 participants, first come first served. Links to the sessions will be available in the online event platform that will be sent to registered participants.

Across the federal government, departments and agencies are adapting to the changing environment: the new reality of virtual work and adoption of Beyond2020 mindsets and behaviours, and the implementation of initiatives to address the harmful impacts of systemic racism and discrimination against Black, Indigenous and other racialized communities, to name only a few.

This year’s symposium will address the evolving needs of managers in meeting the government’s priorities by focusing on the following themes:

•         reconciliation and the call to action

•         navigating the hybrid workplace model

•         addressing mental health and wellness

•         taking control of your career
